Had a stator go out on my 88 FLHS on our way to Sturgis. Being 600 miles from home my options were limited. I had tools to change just about anything else, but of course not this. Brought it in that morning and they had me out the door and back on the road by 1. Wasn't pressured to buy anything I didn't need and was treated like family by everyone there. Thanks for the help!
Place was a joke, I got a flat a half mile from the exit where they are located and called them to ask if they could change my tire. They said sure until they heard I had Michelin commanders on my bike and not Dunlop's. They said I have to change both tires they can't put a Dunlop on with the Michelin. It would cost almost 800 dollars. I had just left the Sturgis rally and on my way home to so-cal and they said sorry can't help you. What pieces of Shot! You ride their bikes and they want to force you to use a specific tire completely unproffesional of Harley Davidson of Gillette Wyoming when your stranded. They should be helping their customers out not turning them away. Luckily Lakeway powersports was only about a mile from them where they stayed after hours to put a new tire on and get me back on the road. Have any problems going through Gillette don't stop at Harley go to them!
The service team at Deluxe took me in, handled my service needs, and got me back on the road asap. Much appreciated.
