We got here late and all the had left was pulled pork and brisket but they were both amazing. The pulled pork was amazing, so well seasoned and perfectly smoked it didn't need any sauce at all (though they were delicious). We had the brisket in the Jo-Ann B's sandwich and it was really good. The brisket was so tender and flavorful and it went really well in the sandwich. I'd love to come back and try the other meats!
After seeing such great reviews, we decided to stop here on our way home from a national park road trip. Easily the best food decision we made in our whole vacation. Amazing food, friendly and personable service and fun atmosphere. We had the bbq platter and an additional order of burnt ends to try a variety, and you seriously can't go wrong ordering anything on their menu. The owners are super friendly and have a great story. Definitely go here if you get a chance!
Some of the best burnt ends I've ever had. Brisket unfortunately sold out at 2pm. Ribs were also excellent and the coleslaw beans. Absolutely the nicest people as well. You know when you meet people who just love what they do? This is them. The love is in the food for sure. Apparently last year they got top 20 in one of the largest bbq competitions in the US.
On a road trip and we decided this sounded like a decent spot. Just wow. We had lunch and the pulled pork and burnt ends are to die for. If we can find any way to be back in town we will stop here for sure.
We are a military family and travel A LOT. We have lived all over and eaten at many BBQ joints. This is bar far THE BEST!!! We found this gem while passing thru town and now we make special arrangements to make sure we stop here whenever we're in the area. Do yourself a favor and try it!!! You won't be disappointed!! PS the owners are an adorable couple! A joy to chat with!!
